WHO I AM

I am an ordinary person who chose to live an extraordinary life―a meaningful life. I have honorably served my country as a soldier, my community as a police officer, and my family as a patriarch and steadfast adherent to the core values of courage, integrity, and self-respect. My purpose is to continue to learn, evolve, and improve and to be a positive influence who inspires, encourages, and empowers others to do the same.

WHAT I DO

I provide leadership and guidance with the fundamental purpose of developing leaders of character. As a leader of leaders, I am committed to creating a culture that will inspire excellence of intellectual and moral character, where purpose and values align with actions.

WHY IT MATTERS

I have lived a full, rewarding, and—many would say—adventurous life, and it all began with having core values that imbued me with confidence, competence, and a clear sense of purpose. This is one reason I foster and support community policing and mentoring programs. I know the importance of good role models in a young person's life, the influence those role models can have, and the immeasurable difference they can make, now and for generations to come.

So make it a habit to always be your best. You never know when someone might catch you in the act of excellence and be inspired.
